 The Bible is filled with promises and accounts regarding health and healing for His children. God's ever-present disposition toward us in this respect is reflected in His covenant with the children of Israel. In Exodus 15:26, He says, "I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee."
David acknowledges that covenant when, in Psalm 103:1-3, he says, "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."
 Jesus ministered to the sick, doing miracles and healing all who came to Him. Matthew 4:23 records these words: "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people."
God's will for you to walk in divine health and a right relationship with Him is emphasized throughout His Word. Consider these passages of Scripture as you walk by faith believing for your miracle today:
 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits - who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:2-5
Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! 1 Chronicles 16:11
"God is and has always been the Healer. He said, ‘I am the Lord that healeth thee.' It is His will for you to live in divine health. Whatever you are facing today, the God of miracles is able to perfect all that concerns you. You can trust Him to restore your health and renew your youth."

From Grief to Glory: Hope Returns

Little by little, as we make our way through the initial steps of grief, we begin to see the sun shine again in our lives. However, even when hope returns, we must keep our faith in God strong. Thoughts of sorrow and grief will linger, and, if they do, it’s not something to worry about. But remain hopeful about the future. Focus on moving from grief to glory, and push through the last leg of the process.
Eventually, you will be in a place where you can reach back to those who are suffering loss in their own lives. It’s not always easy to share your heart and encourage these people, even long after you’ve gone through the process yourself. But people will be looking for answers just as you once searched for answers to the tough questions that come after a tragic loss. Your road will become someone else’s road, and we must continue to move forward as we move from the process to the promise.

On the cross Jesus bore our sins and the consequences of our sins.
Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4).
The word grief here is the Hebrew choliy which menas "weak, sick, or afflicted." Surely He has borne our weakness, sicknesses, and afflictions. The Hebrew word for sorrows is makob, which means "pain or grief."
The Scriptures are clear: Jesus not only died to take away our sins; He died to take away our sicknesses.

Whenever sickness or disease strikes our body, mind or spirit, we usually want to know what our treatment options are. Although good medical care may be available, medical science can rarely provide a complete cure for what ails us. That's because the source of sickness and disease is usually supernatural, falling outside the bounds of man's natural world.
I'd like to answer two of the most important questions you might ask relating to healing: "Can Jesus heal my sickness or disease?" and "What is one of the most common things that can keep me from receiving a healing?" Let's begin with the first question by examining what the Bible says that Jesus healed.
Acts 10:38 says that "...God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." After reading this verse, ask yourself "what did Jesus heal?" The answer will help you build your faith for the healing you've been praying for. Jesus healed a broad range of illnesses - in fact, He healed "every disease and sickness:"

Che Ahn: Faith That Heals

CBN - Che has been in the healing ministry for more than 30 years and says that at some point believers will find themselves praying for the sick or for their own healing. When he gave his life to the Lord, Che says that God healed him emotionally. "My ears, nose, hands, and feet all worked fine; yet I was broken," says Che. "I needed to be fixed inside in a place no doctor could touch." Physical healing is great, but Che says that the inner work is greater than any bodily healing. When God heals a person's body, we become excited and elevate healing over salvation. "With salvation, healing shows me that God cares about making every part of us whole: mind, body, and spirit," says Che.
Through the years, Che has witnessed God's healing power many times. In 2000 Che was speaking in Philadelphia. A woman, Sharon Trainor, was a new believer and was accompanied by her husband, John, not a believer. Both went up for the altar call - Sharon
for healing and John for salvation. Sharon had been diagnosed with RSDS (reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome, an incurable disease). The pain in her feet was so great that surgeries and painkillers did not work. At the meeting, Che prayed for people to be healed, but Sharon was not healed until Che prayed specifically for generational curses to be broken. When Che commanded evil spirits to leave her, both Sharon and her husband fell backward. After so many years of agony, Sharon was instantly free of pain.

Is Healing for Today's Christians?

 If someone says, "It’s not always God’s will to heal," let's look at Jesus’ ministry on earth. In John 5:19,20 and John 8:28,29, we see that Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing, and only said what the Father taught Him to say. In all of His ministry, He never made anyone sick. However, there are many examples that show Jesus healing people.
The one instance where He didn’t heal (Matthew 13:58) was due to the people’s lack of faith, not because it wasn’t His will. A second reason sometimes cited for not believing in healing is that "Healing died out with the apostles." Hebrews 13:8 states, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and for ever." To believe He has stopped healing is contrary to the Word. He is the Healer today, as in New Testament times.
Some People Say...
Perhaps you have heard some of the following positions in relation to healing.
1. It’s not God’s will to heal all the time.
2. God makes you sick to teach you a lesson.
3. Healing died out with the apostles.
4. I prayed for someone, and that person didn’t get healed.
5. Healing is too far out--it borders on being supernaturally "spooky."
The topic of healing can be sensitive. I want to examine these various positions scripturally--not to fuel a debate--but to challenge and encourage you in your faith.
